Best Young Entrepreneurs 2011

Young entrepreneurs have known for years that by creating a blog, they can easily and efficiently grow their business. Creating revenue from a blog is an increasingly popular trend among Generation Y, and the GenYRants team wanted to make sure to reward some prominent entrepreneurs.

We want to share with you the blogs that we find inspiring, helpful, and innovative, and that can maybe push you to do that one thing you’ve always wanted, but never “had time for.” Get inspired by the blogs that we are sharing with you; there is no greater learning tool than your peers.

We scoured the Internet to find you the best Gen Y blogs out there, and this list is our result.

  • Jenny Blake has a great brand and process of what she has built. She has grown her brand to heights that are un-imaginable. With her new book out Life after college she describes some amazing concepts.

Life Without Pants

  • Matt Chuvront offers a unique voice on his blog as he describes his experiences and growth being apart of the generation-y community. He offers great insight on multiple concepts and ideas.

The Community Manager

  • The community manager blog offers a great deal of information and insight being an community manager in today’s wacky social media life. The offer a great deal of resources and discussions that are really useful.

  • College Info Geek is a blog that helps you be awesome at college. They offer some of the best information for college students to enhance their minds and the choices that they make.

  • Genpink offers a great abundant amount of discussions that you won’t hear any other place. You can hear some of the best topics around for women. Elysa places her own touch on topics that most people would never think of talking about.

  • Youtern is a company that offers the connection between the intern and the company. They offer a wide range of services from start-up companies all the way to fortune 500. They offer great resources to receive an internship.

  • Grad Meets World talks about a range of ideas that generation-y should be concerned about. With ideas from financial to education that Amanda talks about. She has a true passion for her generation and teaching others.

Enter: Adulthood

  • Founder: Diana Antholis Twitter: @DianaAntholis
  • Enter: Adulthood offers the unique voice of talking about the issues that 20 something people have when entering into “adulthood”. Diana places a special voice in describing experiences,thoughts, and feelings when entering into adult life.

Intern Queen

  • Intern Queen offers information and resources to women on interning for companies and building a community of engaging people. Lauren has built a brand centered around assisting people in understanding about internships.

  • Pocket Changed is a great financial blog that talks about topics that are important within the gen-y community. Caleb discusses his financial journey with others and his experiences that he has taken along the way.

  • Small Hands, Big Ideas covers a plethora of topics that relate to Gen Y directly – and helps us navigate them along the way. Grace writes about being 20-something woman in a tech startup, her daily inspirations, careers, moving, relationships and general ideas.
